At the general shareholder meeting of Greek glassware trader Yalco on 31 March 2004, approval was given for the firm“s buyback scheme. Yalco bought back 167,430 shares in the period 31 March 2004 to 30 March 2005. The stocks were acquired at an average price of EUR 1.69 (USD 2.19) per share. The total number of own shares, which the company holds at present, represents 1.27% of its share capital. Yalco was founded in 1920 and was listed on the Parallel Market of the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) in November 1995.
