Greek glassware importer Yalco was to issue 5,480,000 shares on the Athens Stock Exchange on 13 September 2002, following the merger with household appliances manufacturer and trader Vellifest. After the new share issue, Yalco“s listed capital is expected to grow to 13,191,620 shares. Yalco posted a pre-tax profit of EUR 1.36 million for the first half of 2002, reduced by EUR 437,000, compared to the first half of 2001.
