Greek glassware importer Yalco posted pre-tax profit of EUR 2.1 million (USD 2.7 million) for January to September 2004 against EUR 2.0 million (USD 2.6 million) for the same period a year ago. The company“s turnover in the period reached EUR 28.4 million (USD 37 million), up 1.9% year-on-year. Yalco“s consolidated pre-tax profit reached EUR 2.06 million (USD 2.68 million), up by 2.7%. Consolidated turnover fell to EUR 33.7 million (USD 44 million) from EUR 34.2 million (USD 44.5 million). (Note: Unless otherwise stated, all figures are for January to September 2004/2003.)
