Investment company Wendel said it has increased its indirect stake in Saint-Gobain to 16.56 % as of 7 November 2007. Wendel now holds 15.79% of the voting rights of Saint-Gobain indirectly. Wendel said in a statement to France“s financial markets authority AMF that it achieved the increase through a share purchase in the market by its subsidiary Hirvest 4.
