13 May 1999: French utility Vivendi and glassmaker Saint-Gobain said they have partly unwound their cross-shareholdings. Saint-Gobain now holds 3.4% of shares and 6.5% of votes in Vivendi, and Vivendi has 1.8% of shares and 3.4% of votes in Saint-Gobain, the companies said in separate statements.
