AT&T has won a USD 2.5 million contract from Vitro SA de CV to develop an international network connecting the Monterrey, Mexico-based firm“s US operations. Under the three-year deal, AT&T will provide an Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network at 64 US locations and will supply 68 other locations with broadband internet service. The contract includes toll-free services, managed network services and local, long distance and international calls. Vitro said the new network will improve inventory management and help distribute important information.
