Owatonna, Minnesota-based Viracon, a glass fabrication company under Apogee Enterprises, Inc., announced organizational changes to continue the company leadership after anticipated retirements. Greg Silvestri is president and will continue to serve simultaneously as Apogee“s executive vice president reporting to Russ Huffer, Apogee chair and CEO. Don Pyatt is the new senior vice president of Technology and Strategy reporting to Mr. Silvestri; Bob Randall is promoted to vice president, Business Development; Pat McDermott replaces Mr. Randall as vice president of Operations at Viracon“s Statesboro, Georgia, plant; Larry Kunkel retires as operational leader in Owatonna after 25 years with Viracon; Bill Wright, who most recently managed the building of Viracon“s St. George facility in Utah, replaces Mr. Kunkel as vice president of Operations in Owatonna; and Rick Farmer succeeds Mr. Wright as vice president of Operations in Utah.
