Vilnohirske Sklo, one of the Ukraine“s largest producers of glassware, has begun production from a new furnace and two Czech-made 10-section glass-forming machines. The project has cost the factory around USD 10 million and the lines will make clear glass jars for pickled food, bottles as well as exclusive glassware. With the addition of the new furnace, the factory now operates four furnaces with an aggregate output of 500 tons per day and 9 glassware production lines. Vilnohirske Sklo produces about 60 types of clear, green, and olive glass bottles for wine, champagne and vodka, and screw lid jars for pickled food. It is one of the four largest glass container producers in Ukraine.
