Spanish glass company Vidrala in Llodio, northern Spain, posted a EUR 7.73 million profit for the first half of 2002, up 9.64% year-on-year. Vidrala sold EUR 63.25 million worth of bottles over the period January to June 2002, down 1.3% year-on-year. Vidrala“s earnings per share rose by 14.55% year-on-year in the first six months of 2002. Vidrala specializes in the manufacture and distribution of glass bottles and containers for both the domestic and international food packaging markets. The company“s product portfolio comprises over 600 products.
