Victor Manuel de Noronha Santos Gallo, one of the Gallo family shareholders of Portuguese glass packaging maker Ricardo Gallo Vidro de Embalagen, is to join the board of Spanish glass bottle manufacturer Vidrala. The appointment of Noronha, who will take the place of Lucas Oriol L-pez de Montenegro, is subject to approval by shareholders. Vidrala closed the EUR 19.72 million acquisition of Ricardo Gallo in October 2003. The Spanish firm paid EUR 15.02 million in cash with the balance made up of 333,595 shares.
