Spanish glass container manufacturer Vidrala has announced that it will complete a five-year investment cycle at the end of 2009, allocating EUR 300 million to generate growth and adapt production plants. President Carlos Delclaux informed shareholders that the company would end 2009 with some decline in sales and results but that the decrease would not be a two-digit one. In 2008, Vidrala closed with EUR 387 million sales and a EUR 40.6 million profit.
