The Spanish company Vicasa, which is 99.73% controlled by another Spanish firm, Cristaleria Espanola, has wholly subscribed to a Ptas 3,499.5 million capital increase operation by its parent group Saint-Gobain of France. Vicasa was created in December 1996 to run the jar and bottle manufacturing division of Cristaleria. The unit will begin operating after the capital increase has been completed.
