Vetropack Nemsova, s.r.o., the largest Slovak glass packaging producer, reported total sales of SKK 1.529 billion (EUR 45.9 million) in 2006, up 8.8% year-on-year. Vetropack Nemsova sold 400.1 million glass products, up 3.1% year-on-year. The company exported 39.2% of its output, accounting for 156.8 million items. At the end of 2006, the Slovak company employed 369 people, according to the company“s annual report. Vetropack Nemsova is a subsidiary of Swiss group Vetropack Holding AG. In addition to Slovakia, the group operates plants in Switzerland, Austria, Croatia and the Czech Republic. Production capacities in Nemsova are among the most efficient in the business.
