Vetropack Nemsova, s.r.o., the largest Slovak glass packaging producer, reported total sales of SKK 1.406 billion for 2005, up from SKK 1.126 billion in 2004. Vetropack Nemsova sold 412.7 million glass products in 2005, an increase of 21.8% over the previous year. The company exported 39% of its output, mostly to Poland, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Switzerland and Croatia. Output increased 16.8% to 102,800 tons of molten glass in 2005. At the end of 2005 the company employed 384, down from 494 at the end of 2004, the company reported on the Vetropack Holding AG website. Vetropack Nemsova, which produces bottles for wine and alcoholic beverages, and glass containers for food, is a subsidiary of Swiss group Vetropack Holding AG.
