Italian frits and glazes manufacturer Vetriceramici has reached agreement for the acquisition of a unit of “Cover Poland“. The deal will enable Vetriceramici to strengthen its presence in an area of great strategic importance covering not only Poland, where the Italian company already has a laboratory and a technical-commercial office, but also the Czech Republic, Russia and the Ukraine. Founded in 1987, the company based at Casola Valsenio (Ravenna, central Italy) employs 120 and expects to post turnover of over EUR 30 million for 2008.
