The joint-stock company “Valmieras stikla skiedra” (Valmiera Fiberglass) sold its production for LVL 1,414,500 in March, which is 4.2% more than in the respective period last year. As reported by financial director Imants Saulitis, the company succeeded to raise production volume because of small orders carried out by the plant while other companies refused to carry out them. Saulitis informed that outlets markets have not changed greatly, however, new customers have joined the export market. The company“s outlets are mainly in Germany, Poland, US, Japan and the UK. Customers have also become more active in the Baltic countries, particularly in Estonia in the past year.
