The Belgian commercial court of Liege will appoint two trustees to manage the assets of crystal ware plant Val St-Lambert, based in Seraing, northern Walloon, a spokesperson for the company said. Val St-Lambert, which is fully owned by the regional government of Walloon, south-eastern Belgium, filed for bankruptcy on 5 September 2002. The company“s staff hopes jobs will be secured through the sale of a stake in Val St-Lambert to a private investor, the spokesperson added.
