An industrial enterprise producing glass containers was put into operation in the farming enterprise Dostlik in Shavkat district of Khorezm region of Uzbekistan. The new enterprise produces half-liter bottles and cans of different capacity for preserving fruit and vegetable products. The capacity of the plant is 50,000 units of glass per day. It was reported that after launching the new enterprise the work of the region“s tinned food factories has greatly improved. Hundreds of people are returning to the tinned food factories. Contracts with vegetable-growers, gardeners and farms have been concluded for delivery of fruit and vegetable products. This season the most part of the tinned products will be exported. The requests for purchase of the products are coming from Russia, the Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
