The Uzbek-Swiss Uzglasszaiden joint venture plans to commission a fibreglass enterprise in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), estimated at EUR 44.2 million. After attaining a projected capacity, the enterprise will have an annual production of 9,400 tonnes of fibreglass. Financial backing for the project is coming from the JV share capital funds, a EUR 30 million loan from German banks and EEUR 5.2 million loan from a foreign partner.
