The Ukraine exported cullet and glass waste in the first 8 months of 2007 to the value of USD 1.676 million for 20,677 tons, including USD 322,000 for 3791 tons in August 2007. Aggregate imports in the first 8 months of 2007 were worth USD 1.155 million (18,957 tons), including USD 412,000 (6799 tons) in August. For the period January – August 2007, as compared to the corresponding period in 2006, the value of cullet exports was unchanged, while imports decreased 48.08% and 390.48% respectively.
