Shareholders of the glass container manufacturer Hostomel glass plant (Kyiv region) voted to remove Pavlo Rubytskyi from his post as chairman of the board at a meeting held on 4 April 2003, according to a company source. Board members then appointed former commercial director Andrii Hyrnyk as chairperson. Hyrnyk had just been voted off the board by shareholders. Shareholders also voted Volodymyr Sokol and Olha Radchuk off the board and appointed Anatolii Khomiakov, Yeroslav Mudryk and Mykola Marchenko in their places. Nadiia Solodovnyk and Volodymyr Lysenko were re-elected to serve as members of the board. The board consists of six members. Hostomel glass plant produces glass bottles for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as glass containers for medical and perfumery goods. The plant ended 2002 with net profits of UAH 11.425 million on total sales of UAH 133.784 million. The plant has a statutory fund of UAH 0.174 million. According to the Agency for Development of the Stock Market Infrastructure, the Ormex Trading Limited company (USA) holds 8.13% of shares in the company and four individuals hold 44.5% of shares.
