The former Stuart glassworks in Stourbridge, central England, was extensively damaged by a serious fire on the 13 January 2004. Up to 70 firefighters were called to deal with the blaze, which was blamed on vandals. Part of the Victorian building, now owned by Waterford Wedgwood, was destroyed by the fire.
