Some 6,000 employees of the companies owned by Turkish glass and glass products maker SiseCam are to receive a pay rise following an agreement between Kristal-Is trade union. The companies have been in talks with Kristal-Is since December 2000. The employees“ salaries will be increased between 10 and 35% during the four six-month periods envisaged in the agreement, which is effective as of January 1, 2001 until December 31, 2002. The companies, which joined the agreement, are Trakya Cam, Anadolu Cam, Cam Elyaf, Cayirova Cam and Pasabahce.
