A new glass coating formula to prevent water droplet formation on side view mirrors will be put on the market by Japan“s Toto on 12 March 2004. Hammerhead Hydrotect Hydrophilic Glass Coat Formula will retail at around JPY 1,600. The new product offers twice the hydrophilic power and the sustainability of its predecessor. Toto plans to ship 100,000 units in the second year.
