Tiffany & Co., the internationally renowned jeweler and speciality retailer, has announced plans to open a store in Greenwich, Connecticut in late summer this year. The approximately 6,600 square-foot store will be located in a historic building at 140 Greenwich Avenue. Signature Tiffany architectural elements, including granite facade, famed Atlas clock, cherry wood fixtures, and stainless steel and glass showcases, will be incorporated into the building“s existing architecture. The store will carry a broad range of the company“s signature engagement and fine jewelry designs, including the exclusive designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso and Jean Schlumberger, as well as a selection of exclusive gifts in china, crystal and sterling silver. A selection of baby gifts and hand-painted porcelain from the company“s Paris Atelier, Le Tallec, will also be offered. “Greenwich is a highly desirable market for Tiffany,” said Beth O. Canavan, Tiffany & Co. executive vice president, “and is the most logical extension of our successful expansion in the New York metro market. Our new store location on Greenwich Avenue, a premier shopping street, will be convenient for existing and potential customers in the area who appreciate the exceptional product design, quality, and enduring value that Tiffany offers.”
