Ministry of Commerce in Thailand announced to increase importing tax on glass products from Indonesian country of origin. Importing tax to be charged is increased from 14.21% and 18.54% of C.I.F. price to 39.96% of C.I.F. price. The new tax rate is levied against dumping behaviour of glass products from Indonesia, which creates mal-effects on Thai glass producers. Hydrogen peroxide imported from India is another product type that has been in Thai antidumping list. This product from Indian country of origin has been levied 30% importing tax at F.O.B. price for 5 years. Ministry of commerce decided to extend antidumping period on this product to prevent a return of same behaviour. Antidumping Law is activated in accordance with WTO“s antidumping agreement, to help local producers to compete in fair market with those imported products.
