Superglass Holdings Plc, a manufacturer of glass mineral fiber insulation products, said 27 February 2008 that profit for six months to 29 February 2008 would be in line with management expectations. Trading since the beginning of the year has strengthened and the annual price increase (effective from 4 February 2008) has been implemented. The directors are confident that CERT (Carbon Emission Reduction Target) at twice the previous EEC2 (Energy Efficiency Commitment) target will commence on 1 April 2008, the firm said.
