In the United States, Stanley Home Decor, part of the Stanley Works group, has sold its moderate-to-high-end decorative mirror business to another US firm, The Uttermost Co., for an undisclosed sum. Stanley will continue to sell lower-priced mirrors to mass merchants and home centres through its two-year-old Home Decor division. As of 18 April, all orders for mirrors priced higher than US$ 60 wholesale are being handled by Uttermost. Under the terms of the deal, The Uttermost Co. assumes rights to the licensed Carolyn Kinder Collection while Stanley will continue to produce mirrors under the licensed Gear name.
