Turkish glassmaker Sisecam will double the annual bottling production in its Mina glass plant in Georgia to 40,000 tonnes. Sisecam signed a US$ 6.3 million credit agreement with the World Bank“s private sector arm International Finance Corporation to finance the project on 19 September 2002. Sisecam won the privatization tender for Mina in 1997. Sisecam will start up operations of a new oven in Mina in January 2003.
