Turkish Sisecam will invest EUR 3 million to build a glass sand concentration plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, some 400 km east of Moscow. The first stage of the plant is expected to be launched in January 2005, and the second in autumn 2005, it was reported. In April 2004 it was reported that Sisecam would invest USD 12 million in a new glassware workshop at the Bor glass plant also in Nizhny Novgorod region.
