In his assessment of the first half of the year, Şişecam CEO Can Yücel said, “We have navigated a period marked by ongoing uncertainties in the global economy, as well as continued volatility in energy and logistics costs. Throughout this period, we remained focused on sustaining our operational and financial performance while continuing to evaluate new opportunities, leveraging our global production network, diversified customer portfolio, and agile management approach. In the first half of the year, our priorities were enhancing efficiency, managing costs and financing effectively, and strengthening operational agility.

“In line with our commitment to maintaining a strong balance sheet and healthy cash flow, we placed a strong emphasis on cash generation and liquidity management. We maintained our disciplined approach to working capital management and continued to advance our simplification efforts. At the same time, we focused on optimising the management of our funding sources and cash assets. The Eurobond issuance we successfully completed in the first quarter, backed by strong investor demand, together with our collaborations with international financial institutions, has further strengthened our ability to support short- to medium-term liquidity management while advancing our long-term strategic objectives.”
