Thailand Siam Cement Group“s unaudited consolidated financial statements for the full year 2001 recently posted a total revenue of THB 122.6 billion, up 4% from the previous year, president Chumpol Na Lamlieng said in a statement posted on Siam“s website. Siam“s operating profit was THB 4.8 billion. Its net profit, including divestment gains of non-core assets, was THB 7.6 billion. On a quarterly basis, the group recorded a fourth-quarter 2001 total revenue of THB 31.4 billion and net profit of THB 1.0 billion. Siam“s sales of cement sales climbed slightly from 2000 to THB 24.2 billion, but fell for petrochemicals to THB 38.2 billion. Its paper and packaging business recorded sales of THB 27.0 billion, on par with 2000. Siam did not feature its 2000 figures in the statement.
