Shenzhen Seg Samsung Glass Co., Ltd, a Chinese CRT manufacturer, posted net profits for 2005 of CNY 40.46 million, down 85.26% from CNY 274.49 million in 2004, according to the company“s 2005 financial results released 6 April 2006. The firm posted CNY 2.07 billion in revenues from main businesses, up 21.71% from CNY 1.698 billion in 2004. The company attributed the increase to the expansion of production capacity and the adjustment of product lineup. The profits from the main businesses were CNY 450.82 million for 2005, a fall of 24.09% from CNY 593.89 million in 2004. The decline is mainly the result of lower product prices and higher raw materials costs. Earnings per share were CNY 0.05 in 2005, compared with CNY 0.35 in the previous year. Net assets per share were CNY 2.59 for the year, compared to CNY 2.64 in 2004. Shenzhen Seg Samsung Glass Co., Ltd was set up in July 1997 with a registered capital of CNY 726.15 million .
