Serigraphie Richford will, according to Lancaster Economic Development Director Mike Pettit, bring 100 new manufacturing jobs to a Lancaster, Ohio industrial park. The Montreal glass bottle decorating company expects to start operations by September 2010, depending on expected incentives from state and local authorities, Pettit added. “Lancaster“s a good location with both our work force and logistics part of their business, close to the raw products that they get,” Pettit said. The existing building must be expanded from 60,000 to 80,000 sq.m., Pettit said. There was no need for an Ohio EPA air quality permit or water discharge permit, since the process is environmentally clean, he added. The operation, based on three shifts, will take about three years to require the 100 jobs, he added.
