20 May 1999: Selas Corporation of America announced that it has received a US$ 6.3 million order from Eko Stahl, a major German steel producer. The order is for a modification to an existing continuous galvanizing line that Selas is presently installing at the Eko Stahl facility in Eisenhuttenstadt, Germany. Stephen F. Ryan, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Selas, said that the new order extends Selas“ work with Eko Stahl and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year 2000. Selas S.A., the company“s French subsidiary, is also executing this order. Selas is a diversified firm with international operations and sales that engages in the design, development, engineering and manufacturing of a range of products including precision medical and electronic products, heat technology equipment and systems, and cable winch products.
