India“s Sejal Architectural Glass (SAGL) plans to raise INR 965-1057 million from the primary equity market to set up a new float glass manufacturing facility. The issue constitutes 32.8% of the company“s fully diluted post-issue equity capital. Incorporated in January 1998, SAGL has processing facilities for insulated, toughened, laminated and decorative glass. Its existing plant is located at Silvassa on the west coast. As a step towards backward integration, the company proposes setting up a new manufacturing facility for float glass with a capacity of 200,750 metric tonnes per annum at Bharuch, Gujarat. SAGL“s move into float glass manufacturing would be a venture into new territory for the company.
