The printing division of Swiss company Sefar manufactures a sectionally pre-coated mesh, named Sefar(R) PCF, as well as a complete range of screenprinting meshes and patented screen-stretching systems. Sefar says its sectionally pre-coated mesh has achieved very satisfying results in field tests. It significantly increases process reliability in screen printing due to standardized coating thicknesses with optimal Rz values. Stencil production is made easier and faster because the number of process steps is reduced. Sectionally pre-coated Sefar(R) PCF mesh can be stretched directly from the roll, and then exposed. The use of chemicals is almost completely eliminated and constant, industrially applied photo-coating allows reproduction of high-quality, half-tone and line printing with no problems. PCF technology also makes large print runs possible because the emulsion coating is optimally embedded in the mesh.
