Hungarian windscreen manufacturer Salgglas Rt closed 1999 with revenues of Ft 2.85 billion, a Ft 650 million rise from 1998, and expects its revenues to grow by at least 25% to over Ft 3 billion this year. The company exports 25% of its products, mainly to Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, said CEO Gyula Gaal. In 2000, Salgglas plans to manufacture at least 150 types of windscreens instead of the 100 it makes at present. Salgglas will spend Ft 50 million on upgrading one of its production lines in its plant, which has a staff of 380.
