Building material supplier Saint-Gobain eyes a strong profit rebound in 2003, chairman and chief executive Jean-Louis Beffa saidin an interview, thanks to investments in Asia, and, notably, in China.

Building material supplier Saint-Gobain eyes a strong profit rebound in 2003, chairman and chief executive Jean-Louis Beffa saidin an interview, thanks to investments in Asia, and, notably, in China. Beffa also said he would like Vivendi Universal“s share price to pick up. He said his company has already sold 4 million Vivendi shares at EUR 120 each, and still has 12 million shares in its accounts, priced at EUR 14 each, which it also plans to sell. Beffa left Vivendi Universal“s board of directors in April 2002.
