French Saint-Gobain will open a Platform shop in Budapest by the end of April 2002. The company invested HUF 800 million in the building of a new 6,000 sq. m. hall on the former site of the shop Feszek. The new shop will be specialized in the sale of building materials to small and medium-sized companies from the building industry. Sales to small and medium-sized companies will be kept separate from those to other customers and different prices will be applied to them. Some 98% of the HUF 500 million stock is already in the new shop. The French company operates Platform shops in France, Poland and Spain.
