Saint-Gobain announced on 6 July 2009 that it will invest about EUR 2 million in its Forssa plant in Finland, on automation systems and a new glass furnace. During the past year, the company has reduced its number of employees by 15, after three employer-employee talks. The plant is moving to improve its packaging capacity in 2009.
