Multinational glassmaker Saint-Gobain has announced that it will not be closing its glassworks at Savigliano, but will be drastically reducing its number of employees at its factories in northern Italy. Sekurit, the glassworks located at Savigliano, with 250 employees, is specialized in the production of auto windscreens, and Euroveder, Cervasca, which employs 250, will both see these figures reduced.
