Auto glass plant Saint-Gobain Sekurit Eesti, based in Elva, eastern Estonia, part of the French Saint-Gobain concern, ended 2001 with a profit of EEK 32.6 million, up by EEK 16.3 million from the preceding year. According to data of Krediidiinfo (Credit Information), the firm“s net sales increased from EEK 97.8 million in 2000 to EEK 133.3 million in 2001, while operating profit grew from EEK 18.2 million to EEK 33.6 million. Saint-Gobain Sekurit had EEK 158.6 million in total assets at the turn of the year. With EEK 10 million in stock capital, the firm“s equity stood at EEK 100.3 million. Besides Saint-Gobain Sekurit, the French concern owns Baltiklaas, Saint-Gobain Isover and Autover Autoklaas.
