Saint-Gobain Glass has contracted Greek construction group Edrasi Psallidas to undertake a EUR 6.6 million (USD 8.0 million) geotechnical project related to the building of the French group“s float-glass plant in Romania, under a deal signed on 15 June 2005. The plant is to be located in Calarasi, southern Romania, near the Bulgarian border. The project is due for completion within six months and Edrasi Psallidas has set up a branch in Bucharest for the purpose.
