Russia“s OST Group plans to upgrade production facilities at its Dmitovsky OST-Alko alcoholic beverages plant in a USD 10 million investment within two years, the company“s corporate relations director, Maria Salutskaya, told reporters 27 May 2003. The company plans to double the plant“s annual production capacity to 10 million 0.5-liter bottles, she said. Under the OST Group plans, the plant will switch to producing new types of alcoholic beverages, she said, without going into further detail. The group was founded in 1995 and comprises about 30 companies, including Russia“s major mineral water producer OST-Aqua, the Chernogolovka OST-Alko alcoholic beverages plant and the Chernogolovka Brewery.
