The Russian government has issued a ruling to allocate RUR 1.025 billion from its Investment Fund for the building of a glass plant in the constituent republic of Dagestan, it was reported 10 September 2009. The total cost of the project amounts to RUR 3.258 billion. Investments are expected to be recouped within nine years. The project investor is Magistral. The plant, called Anzhi-Steklo, is expected to be built in 2009-2010 in the republic“s Kumtorkalinsky district.
