The Russian republic of Dagestan plans to launch a glass production plant in mid 2010, the republic“s President Mukhu Aliyev told Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at an investment forum on 19 September 2008. Investment in the building of the plant, which will have a daily projected capacity 600 tonnes of float glass, will add up to EUR 181.21 million. The construction project will be financed 25% with funds from the republic“s budget and 75% with borrowed funds.
