The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, plans to loan USD 10 million to the Turkish-Russian company Ruscam. The loan term will be 7 years. Ruscam is part of the Turkish glass company Sisecam and is one of Russia“s biggest glass producers. Ruscam is currently building a USD 60 million glass production facility in Garokhovets, Vladimir region, with a planned output of 1 billion bottles a year. The first phase of the plant became operational in September 2002 and the second is due in the spring of 2003.
