International kitchenware, tableware and interior design labels such as Rosenthal, Villeroy & Boch and Lalique will be among others set to launch their products in India by the end of the year. According to a recent report, the internationally-acclaimed brands are expected to launch their products and firm up deals for their entry into the Indian market during the Ambiente India fair next October. India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, 100% subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, officially launched the fair to be held concurrently with the annual global Heimtextil fair from 5-8 October this year. Ambiente India is expected to enable quality manufacturers in India to showcase their products for a global preview and attract global manufacturers attempting to enter the liberalized Indian market for marketing tie-ups, joint ventures and sub-contracting, the organizers said. While Heimtextil in Germany attracts more than 300 Indian buyers, the fair to be held in India is expected to open the market of home fashion and accessories for as many as 700 more buyers. It will also expose the customer to these brands. The fair is well timed because it will take place between the European fairs and the Asian fairs in Hong Kong, enabling buyers to compare and source the entire range of home accessories. Ambiente India will focus on products covering seven categories comprising crystal, porcelain, glass, silverplated ware, kitchen and houseware, cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen machines, beverage articles, table decors and accessories, gallery, picture, paintings, posters, anthology presents, games, toys, candles, figurines, jewellery and clocks and watches, interior design, furniture, lighting and living area accessories. Ambiente in Germany is Messe Frankfurt“s famous brand name in the world consumer goods industry. Over one million products are displayed at this annual event attracting over 5,000 exhibitors from 140 countries and over 1.5 million visitors.
