TIAMA and DAHENG GROUP-IMAVISION have formed a joint venture thanks to major synergies, and, on 26 March, they inaugurated the new premises in the province of Shandong.
French-based TIAMA, leading global provider of process and quality control equipment for hollow glass is pleased to announce that it signed a partnership on 19 January 2015 with DAHENG Group-IMAVISION, to create a joint venture.
DAHENG Group-IMAVISION, a Bejing-based company listed on the Chinese stock exchange, is a major player in image processing devices and applications with a sales turnover of USD 600 million and 4,000 employees. The group already benefits from a significant experience in building successful partnerships with international leading companies.
Both companies have recognized major synergies by combining Tiama 50 years’ experience in glass containers and Daheng knowhow and expertise to develop new inspection solutions. Chinese glass container volume already represents close to 20% of the worldwide demand. This partnership will help to address not only this fast growing market but also unsatisfied markets for inspection and control machines.
The inauguration of the new premises took place on 26 March in the joint venture’s province of Shandong where all Chinese glassmakers were invited to discover this new market player.
